Our Environment

Click here to link through the Climate Conscious Mawnan page

These pages are dedicated to our local environment – we live in a wonderfully unspoilt part of the county and need to do whatever we can to help maintain this area.

Included here are details on the footpaths and Public Rights of Way network within the parish including the stretch of South West Coast Path (SWCP) that passes though our parish,  as well as things like landowners responsibilities for maintenance of boundary hedges, especially where they are onto the highways or pavements can be found by clicking here, as can details that relate to allowing outflow from septic tanks.

Wanted – Tree Wardens.

You need not cover the whole parish, just your road, lane or regular walking route would be great.  We want people to protect, promote and enjoy trees in the parish  .. and especially those trees that have special memories for you.

Training and help are available through the County Tree Warden Project.    Let us know if you want to sign up to monitor your little plot.
