PORTFOLIO HOLDER PROTOCOL
To bring more focus to the Council’s various responsibilities and to deploy its resources in a more efficient way, the Council has allocated ‘Portfolios’ to individual councillors. It is the responsibility of each councillor to lead the Council's activities in that specific area, although the whole Council will still maintain responsibility for the work and for making all decisions.
These guidelines were drawn up by the Office and Finance Working Group, and agreed by the Council.
