Coronavirus provision 24.3.20
As of Tuesday 24th March the physical offices of the parish council have closed. If anyone needs to arrange a burial could you please either ring and leave a message (01326 251022) or email the clerk (clerk@mawnan.org.uk) to discuss. It may take up to 24 hours to get a response.
The following amendment to the Burials Regulations was put in place at 9am on 27th April until such time as Government Restrictions due to COVID-19 are made. It sets out the parishes requirements to allow burials to take place safely during the lockdown period.
For anyone wishing to find out details on how to arrange a burial at Mawnan Community Graveyard please look below for reference materials & forms and then make contact with the Parish Offices on 01326 251022 or email clerk@mawnan.org.uk. All queries should be responded to within 48 hours .
The churchyard at Mawnan Church was closed in 2015 and is no longer accepting interments, unless there is a prior agreement in place with the Church. All enquires for interments would need to be addressed to them.
Please DO NOT commission headstones or memorials until the Application to Install a Memorial has been signed off by the parish council/ clerk. Any costs incurred before we have agreed your memorial are your own responsibility.
